| EJ on the Uberguilds network? I think I just saw some EJ threads scrolling on the ticker at the top of the page. Does this mean Elitist Jerks is on the Uberguilds hosting network now? And, per chance, does it also mean their moderation will be a bit more relaxed?

+40 Internets | Ya, we got them on the network about 2 months back-ish. Ian (Requiem) just recently got the time to put them on the block. Same with WoWJustu and Wotlkwiki.info We never ever tell a site how to moderate their website nor what they can or cannot place on their site (within legal reason). Since the guildcafe (now GamerDNA) merger we got the financing to afford to move forward. We are currently at 3.2 million uniques a month and growing rapidly every single month. The new Alliance page is located at: GamerDNA Alliance Network | Distributed Media for the Gaming Market

+37 Internets | Since we need to be more conscious of advertising revenue with these sites, for now they are only running 728x90 ads in lieu of a new block design. Coming Soon(TM). Once that's ready, it'll be going up on all of the new(and existing) sites we've been adding over the last several months. And no, it's not gigantic. It's about the same size. And I must say, it's fucking slick. Can't wait, I wish I could share the design PDF with you all. Also, it's worth noting the the Uberguilds Network is now called the gamerDNA Alliance. We just haven't rebranded the old block yet.

+37 Internets | Side note: MTGS seems pretty disproportionately active right now, but I think it'll probably be alot less prolific during the weekdays. FoH tends to be real slow on the weekends and I have a feeling the trend is opposite on MTGS. There's always the ForumSpy link(top left link on the navbar) for only FoH if you want to use that.

| Yea, I've switched over to using ForumSpy with all the activity on the tracker from other sites, but I would love to be able to just refer to the tracker like I was before. It sounds like y'all are doing great, and I'm happy to hear it.

+37 Internets | Someday you will be able to log into gamerdna and define what shows up on your block with granularity all the way down to specific forums on each site, or select pre-defined channels of sorts by game and whatnot. No ETA on that though.

+37 Internets | I'll watch how it goes over the week. As of right now, we're still in one of the least active times for posting here on foh and in general. If it stays like it is now, I'll probably filter it on most sites.

We are so fucked . I'm not trying to beat this into the ground or anything, but wow...just wow. I'm acclimating to ForumSpy though, so it's all good.

| MTG is awesome and everything, but why is it linked to a bunch of MMO forums?

I very much would associate MTG to the current MMO community especially Fantasy MMO's much like D&D. | |

+40 Internets | Our network encompasses sites revolved around all types of gaming. While MMOs are a personal favorite, it is not a good idea for us to be secluded to one genre while trying to be competitive in this industry. The new block will let you pick and choose what shows up, I've seen the mock-up and it is insane. I have no idea on the ETA but it shouldn't be too long of a wait.

+16 Internets | Good to hear about EJ. btw: I'd pay a monthly fee to not see total shit ads. FoH forum's have the lamest ads really, they're all either shitty games no one buys, or for shitty 'online' web games.

+37 Internets | The ads will improve as time goes on. Not only is the Alliance just now getting large enough to attract real high quality ads, but getting a 728x90 above the fold will help alot as well. Anyway, the new block up top is just something I am expirimenting with, it's not the new design I was talking about - not by a long shot. Feedback welcome, but keep in mind that I only spent about 3 hours hacking that up to see if it would even work.
