Alcohol forum!

Hate to be the wet blanket here, but the same argument that can be made against a new Drugs & Science forum, Recipe forum, et al., can be made again here. This is something that can easily be discussed via a thread or two (but most likely just one) in the General forum. We don't need to create a brand-new forum just to house what will end up being maybe a handful of semi-active threads at most.

Until it can be proven that a need for such a forum exists outside of General and/or Screenshots, it just doesn't seem warranted.

It would be better made in screenshots anyway since you'd be forced to make mspaint pictures of whatever you did while drunk.

There are always plenty of new recipes and drinks to have people going to that forum if it actually existed. But I really wouldnt want to scroll through hundreds of posts to find a recipe or request something if it ended up becomming another FSR or Video thread. On top of that trying to have a discussion about so many things in 1 thread is kinda a pain in the ass. Getting Rid of the rickshaw hall of shame and merging it with the RR and actually having an alcohol drug forum seems like better Idea and would be alot more active.

Even a Software/Programs forum would be more active then the RRHoS

something as simple as 50, or 100.

not for elitism but for legal protection. I know overgrow.com before it was taken down allowed talk about weed, and shrooms and everything else was forbidden. shroomery.org has a sole forum for the general discussion of drugs other than shrooms which requires 50 posts to view. Im not sure of the specifics but I think there are some legal risks in the discussion of some drugs. or at the very least recomendations of specific dosages. (this is not even allowed on erowid)

Dosage recommendation is very much allowed on erowid. There isn't a discussion board per se (at least not to my knowledge) but almost all trip reports list their dosage as well as many drugs have a link specifically for dosage information. Unless you're talking about something else, dosage is definitely documented on erowid.

Someone gave me a chocolate today with a Jack Daniels label, I assumed the liquor was mixed in with the chocolate so I bit half of it, and promptly spilled half a shot worth of JD onto my shirt. That was not kosher.

no no, people can describe experiences including the dosages they took. If someone asks specifically, "how much should i take?", most sites do not allow people to respond. i guess it down to semantics but on those sites saying "Take 7 grams" and "Ive taken 7 grams an ejoyed it" are two different things.

Right, because I think somewhere down the line a person is held responsible for their statements (If someone died off of 7 grams of whatever they could be sued) unless there was an explicit disclaimer saying that they weren't liable.
