Strange that you didn't feel anything from ecstasy, you were probably sold some bunk pills. It's a shame, because used responsibly it really is an amazing experience, one I would without a doubt recommend to anybody (assuming I knew they could handle it responsibly and wouldn't overdo it, burn themselves out and move onto smoking ice, like so many people seem to do

On the note of people not feeling anything from drugs, has anyone had this issue with weed? I've smoked fairly large quantities of it on several occasion, had everyone around me bent out of my mind, but other than giggling a lot it seems to do absolutely nothing to me, it doesn't affect my mental state or give me a 'high' at all. It does seem to help calm me down when coming down from E or any stimulants, but other than that, nothing.

I don't really care because it's not a drug that ever interested me too much, I'm just curious.

One note for any beginner abusers - I loved DXM. LOVED it, probably my favorite drug because I never had to worry about purity, it was cheap, etc., however I frequently took it in the form of robitussin gel caps, starting at 20 at a time and eventually taking as many as 40 or 50 at a time. At the time I was worried about losing the ability to cough, doing permanent damage to my throat or brain, or just being on the front page as another idiot kid who ODed, but now that I've been off it for 2 years the only long term effect is I get very very very nauseous when I need to take a different pill, to the point where I have to sit down for 15 minutes after and concentrate to not throw up. Occasionally having a flash back when taking a drink of water from a bottle can produce the same effect, albeit more rarely.

Taking 40-50 pills at a time (10 per swallow usually) has consequences! Ones you don't think of!

I did the datura long long before I met my wife and fathered my children, LSD abound; it was good times. Now, I'm a student, father, and a husband. I stick to the occasional toke of some herb, only if it is choice bud or I am really bored. I wait till the kids are asleep or off to school then I toke up (like once per 2 weeks) and kick back and play some video games.

Anyway, I accidentally stumbled upon some really wierd bud. its not laced or anything stupid like that, its just really different high than im used to. I live in AZ, 99% of our bud comes from mexico in a burlap sack, gives you a little couch lock, some cool head effect, but generally lasts about 30 - 45 minutes. After it wears off, you feel generally tired and bored, I usually nap.

This bud is different, 1 or 2 tokes and it's like 100% head high, I feel energized andperceptive. I think twice this morning I asked my friend how she was doing, she said she was fucked and I said I felt totally incapable of functioning. Also, it lasts for no less than 4 hours and leaves no without a groggy head. I feel fine and even went outside and did some yard work.

I don't usually feel the need to sit around and say how high i am or ask my friends if they are high. We're all old people and I don't feel the need to validate the high with foolish questions. I shared with my nieghbor, hes an old (60 something) truck driver, he's the smokenest fucker i've ever met. He couldn't finish a full bowl himself.

In summary, I've smoked off and on all of my life, heavily in my youth, not so much these days at all, but seldom these days. I've never smoked abroad and the weed here , even the good stuff, is probably mexican comercial. I know there are differences between indica and sativa strains, i thought mexican was primarily a sativa strain which is supposed to be more head high than body high, but wtf is this that I found then?

Any AZ residents that have personal experience with the local grow we usually get care to comment? All comments are welcome from anyone of course.

At Bonnaroo, I lent my bowl to our camp neighbors and when the girls brought it back they had put about half a bowl worth of this whitish looking weed in it. I smoked it thinking that it was just going to be some high grade shit (Being from Southeastern Kentucky I don't have much experience with exotics).

About 5 minutes after I took it I got an extreme brief visual of a huge fucking spider crawling all over my left arm.

I've done some research and apparently what I got ahold of was "White Widow?"

Has anyone had any experience with it? The visual I had wasn't necessarily unpleasant, I tried to brush it off and couldn't so immediately wrote it off as a visual.

My roomate has that same immunity to Salvia that Millie is speaking of. I've smoked it on several occasions, and each time I'll have him try it, but he says he's never felt anything off of it ever.

Enough with the psychadelics who has messed with the always fun dissassociatives?

DXM, Nitrous, Dramamine, Benadryl, etc.

Compared to psych's definately have to be careful with abuse, they dont have the same built in tolerance, and can be a very good time. DXM is extremely entertaining, and depending on where you live, very easy to get the right cough syrup with pure DXM and no other active drugs.

Benadryl is kinda weird, basically have to take a bunch (roughly 250mg) and resist the drowsiness, similar with the dramamine. BOth end up causing some weird experiences.

be careful with DXM, it itself is not very dangerous, but many people take cough syrups with other active drugs in them. You can find many brands that have cough syrups with DXM as the ONLY active ingredient.

As has been said before, Erowid.org is one of the best informational resources on the net with the compiling of almost every known recreational drug, or drug with potential for abuse. If you are willing to do the research and understand what you're doing I takes much of the risk out of a lot of drugs that could otherwise be very dangerous.

I've done nitrous a few times. Definately something to not do alot of though. My mind literally felt like it went through a total meltdown when it was over. The high was good though while it lasted. Started hearing NES 8-bit sounds (perhaps the radio station at the time was the cause) and felt like I was in a giant space suit.

I'd like to do more of the Benadryl, but I've got a severe weakness when it comes to things making me drowsy. I end up passing out 90% of the time, only to wake up later after having some of the more fucked up dreams in my life.

Doing high doses of Benadryl and Benadryl-type drugs can be extremely dangerous, because many of those over-the-counter drugs contain high levels of acetominaphen purposely mixed in to prevent abuse. (The reason being that high concentrations of acetominaphen cause vomiting and liver damage). It is also very possible to induce a heart attack by ODing on the acetominaphen before even feeling the effects of the DXM. So if you're going to try tripping on DXM, make absolutely sure to find a pure-DXM brand.

Also, DXM in high concentrations has been shown to cause irreversible brain damage in lab mice. No human studies have been done, but hey, when permanent brain damage is even a likely possibility, I'd tend to stear clear.

I overdosed on Dramamine when I was entering Sophomore year of high school. I don't really remember too much about it except for a very nasty spinal tap and a catheter. Neither of which I want to relive.

you must have taken a very large amount.

me and my friends were always very careful with our dosing. started at 100mg (4 caps) and each time we did it we moved up by 50mg, we stopped at 300mg which is still well below what is considered dangerous, many reports of people taking 600mg.

SA's Crackhead Clubhouse pretty much covers all the bases. I'm not sure if you need to be subscribed to get on there. It's no Erowid, but it's great for drug banter.
