Live Posts display

So I noticed this new thing that lets you see Live Posts, similar to the ForumSpy thing. You can also see the top threads. It's pretty slick, but it is also getting annoying.

When I open a forum and click to open a thread, the delay on the drop down makes me misclick 90% of the time. I either end up opening a user profile or trying to start a new thread.

So, my simple comment/suggestion/question is: is there any way to turn this off or have it appear at the bottom of the page? Anything to keep it from moving the page down an inch while I am mid-click would be sweet. I looked through the CP, but saw nothing. I could have missed it though, so if it's there feel free to tell me where and call me a dumbass.

One thing I noticed, text in that window doesn't support extended characters.

Someone titled a thread using ù or something, and it showed up as a square. Just letting ya know.

I've noticed it's gone, and I have to admit, I'm pleased.

If it's only down for repairs, when it comes back, can we get a UserCP option or something to turn it off?

I'd love to see it customizable. A way to control which website feeds you can see. Before I was getting them from a dozen sites. I'd like to configure it for just 2 or 3 of the UG network sites I frequent. Would make it really awesome to be able to just keep one tab open and click to interesting threads as they scroll by.

We will be making it fully customizable down to what sites the minispy displays by genre, game, type(guild/community), or custom filters and allow customization of the information that is displayed in the block in the future. This functionality is waiting for us to get the global login system completely finished. We'll also be adding a news tab and some other tabs. I'll probably make an option to turn it back into a 728x90 ad if the user wants it that way, I haven't given it enough thought in the last 2 minutes to say for sure either way.

Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but when clicking on Search at the top of the page and the quick search box drops down, it sits behind the advertisement making it unable to be clicked, typed in, or go to advanced search mode. Also the submit report link under 'see a problem?' doesn't work either.

I spoke too soon, not yet fixed. Playing with the embed tags. Should be resolved shortly.

At this point in time the dropdown is fixed for our locally served flash advertisements, however this issue may take some time to resolve with our 3rd party clients, so please bear with us.

Very cool - I don't really care about the updates from the other sites.
