vBulletin plug-ins

While it's cool and all that the site is being constantly updated, can we get a toggle in User CP for the new stuff? I'm thinking of the URL thing that grabs the title of the page you link to, and the one that displays times as X minutes/hours/days ago rather than actual times and dates specifically, because I would really like to turn both of those off. I see there's a way to turn off the parsing if you use the reply page, but it'd be nice to have a CP option to default it to always off for people who like to use quick reply instead. I'm guessing being able to turn it off for other people's posts you're reading would be a bit too much overhead.

And while you're at it, how's that spoiler/spoilerbox tag coming along? ^^

100% agree on the title grabbing thing.

The URL rewriting is vbseo, and I can't turn it off for anybody as far as I know. It's purpose is for search engine optimization. I figured people would like the "x minutes ago" thing, and I don't believe I can give you the option to disable that either.

As far as the spoiler tags go, I've been looking for one that is collapsable. The ones where you have to highlight the text seem lame. I haven't found one yet. If you can find a collapsable spoiler tag mod for vBulletin url me.

Yea, I was reading the SEO site the other day and people have asked for an option to make unchecked the default for retrieving titles on external links, but it doesn't sound like they plan to do it. Oh well.

The "x minutes ago" thing just seems counterintuitive to me. It gets really imprecise once posts are more than a day old, until it's a month or more and then it tells you the exact date again.

Spoiler-Modification v. 1.0.0 - vBulletin.org Forum ? I don't like the highlight type either, but I'm not sure if that's the one I've used before. I don't have access to a vB.org forum account with a license actually attached to it anymore, so it's a pain in the ass to find anything there. Note the warning on page 2 of the thread warning against using {option} in an input tag to prevent code injection.
