Go to first new post link fubared?

My cookie seems to be working since I see the different color and the "go to first new post" icon in the topics that have updates I have not read, yet te "go to first new post" icon brings me to the first post of the first page everytime... hepl!

EDIT: Actualy not always the first post of te first page, because I landed somewhere mid-PGT yesterday.

I can't imagine someone writing php that actually parses the name of the page it went to to figure out if you want the first post, as in:

This is honestly making it very difficult to read the boards, at least the longer threads. I've got no idea where to jump to in a lot of threads. My mind is fucking melting here!

Same problems.. When I click on like the lost thread, it always brings me to millies post from like six months ago

Yes, it was fucked up. Now it's keeping track of it in the database rather than using cookies.

Wow, gonna turn that on later tonight when there isn't 750 people on the forums. It's building the database from scratch and making shit go slow.

About 20 minutes ago when I checked the board, pretty much all threads with posts in the past couple days were showing up as "new." Not sure if that has something to do with what you're fiddling with.
