Fixing our own screwups

It would be awesome if we could move our own posts if we screw up and post in the wrong place. This is a very rare occurance, I'm sure, but nontheless there's nothing like clicking submit, and then realizing "Wait... I just fucked up."

Of course, by that point, it's too late. A few seconds of retardation can suck for a long, long time. There's nothing left to do but edit with the reason why you thought the post belonged there in the first place, grit your teeth, and pray that the moderator of that forum isn't having a bad day.

Being able to fix this ourselves would probably save a few annoyances all around, not to mention disk space in the rickshaw for those inevitable brainfarts.

Fuck. Another good example is when the server is busy as hell, and decides to double post. What a shitty night.

Was it the server that made the text different in the two posts?

Should probably make your signature and avatar less gay, you'll be fixing your own screwups right there. Yeah the whole sig and yeah the whole avatar.
