Silicon Valley -- cost of living

I'm looking at possibly taking a position at a company in Sunnyvale, and I'm trying to calculate the cost of living difference between San Antonio, TX (where I'm at) and the Sunnyvale/Silicon Valley area. What's screwing me up is trying to calculate the state income tax for CA.

Does anyone know of a good tax calculator to calculate this (federal included would be awesome), or would anyone be willing to help me out? Google is failing me. =(

Thanks in advance!

I think I can safely tell you it will cost more.
