| IMF out of money? IMF may run out of cash to fight crisis in six months, Strauss-Khan warns - Telegraph If the IMF does run out of money and has to start printing then whats the effect on the US? Considering our debt is about to exceed a 70 year high. We've still got a long hard fall ahead of us. Any experts out there have any insight? | I dont think the IMF can print money, they rely on the US for like half their money and the other first world countries for the other half.. they are sorta a puppet organization and they only ever could try to create growth in smaller countries (and they have never been particularly good at it) Maybe some of the poor countries on the IMF dole will be in trouble. Depending on the countries on the chopping block I would expect that if funds stay tight in teh IMFs usual cash cow countries then they will cut back to giving money only to the countries that the US/EU considers important. |

| IMF is going to need to bail out most of Eastern Europe before the years up but they don't have the money to do so. Most Eastern-European countries are already clearly in a depression, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Latvia, Ukraine etc etc... could swallow the whole EU with it. |
