| Nas' best album was by far Illmatic, that is as indisputable as pretty much anything else out there.
Let's be real here, It Was Written didn't approach Illmatic's sales, and then you have to factor in that people would be influenced into buying it by how good Illmatic was. Did Nastradamas even go platinum? I doubt it. For real, as good as it is, Stillmatic would not have gone platinum were it not for the beef with Jayz. Nas can credit Sean Carter with saving his career.
As for Jayz, when he gets serious, he's pretty much the best since Biggy. |
