| um, hes never released his sword. He said as much himself in the SS Arc. In fact he goes so far to say that Ichigo's weak for relying on the power of others (ie his sword) rather than your own power.
I dont ever recall it stating in the manga that his sword is like ichigos and is in a permanent released state. |
