It Was Writtin (his 2nd album) is considered by a lot of people to be better than Illmatic. Nas was doing fine before and after Jay-Z opened his mouth, the only thing that battle did was prove Jay-Z's skill wasn't as impressive as his ego. King of NY.. wtf ever.
