This is what I am saying. It's the worst possible outcome, and will splinter the Democratic party for this and future elections. It would guarantee a Hillary loss this year and it would SEVERELY hurt the Democratic party in their Congressional races. 31 fucking Republican Senators retiring. THIRTY ONE. That's a hell of a lot to risk on some crazy back door shenanigans for Clinton, and no one wants to be known as the one who destroyed the oldest party in the United States.
