Any properly built amp should be fine as long as it is decently matched to your speakers. 99.9% of your sound quality will depend on your speakers and source material.
Edit: Make sure that the amp you pick has phono inputs as many don't these days. You can always make our build a phono stage to solve this problem, but I don't think that is the route you are looking to go.
