Well with the earlier mention in this thread that Drysc said new Badge gear will be BT level I assume they're doing a gear reset for sunwell.
At this point were looking at 18 monthes minimum from TBC to WOTLK. If the only added content in this period is a single 5 man, and a single 25 man balanced for BT/Hyjal level guilds there will be massive bitching.
So they introduce new badge rewards to guilds so they will have the gear to do some SSC/TK to fill out there slots then step into BT/Hyjal/Sunwell.
Its very clear they dont want raiding to stay to a small portion of the population. At anytime they will likely attempt to keep the casuals 1-2 "tiers" of raiding behind the hardcores.
Was it made official that 2.4 would be the last major pre-expansion patch?
Im guessing 1-2 monthes on PTR (mainly 5man, and raid balancing) hits live late march, then 2 monthes of update patches/ fixes. Now late may early june. I'm gonna call WOTLK for like oct/nov at the earliest. Assuming its ready to go beta soon after 2.4 is all squared away.
