This is the lesson we learn from their behavior. I'm not quite convinced they agree with you, or if it's a sign of the shifting power of varying philosophies within the dev team. Every time they nerf entry requirement are they saying "oops, we shouldn't have had attunements for X; we'll make sure we do it right next time"?

I'm not questioning you (Twobit) just to be disagreeable. I just find it odd that they're using these meta-game patch changes. If they think that attunements should be lessened in difficulty over time, they know how to do that in-game. They could just as easily have an AQ40/Naxx-esque turn-in or server collective event. First phase could be entry requires killing a prior 25-man raid. Over time, after enough turn-ins or completed quests, entry would be nerfed to 5 man quests. After enough time of that, nerf to no attunement necessary. All I'm really saying is I'm surprised they do these nerfs in the out-of-game world of patch notes instead of the in-game world of server events.
