I'm all for hating Bush. Hating Chenny / Rove more than Satan though. They may have lied and we probably wouldn't have been there if they hadn't but... Over the past 60+ years we've cultivated the hatred of people around the world for our foreign policies (democrat and republican alike) that tended to make their lives worse simply because "we" in our infinite wisdom thought it was the best course of action to take for the current moment. Those people have a right to be pissed at us...I would be. (Not talking about the religious zealot cocksmokers)

But when you read stuff like this

Senseless killing of women

Then I believe we should be there and are helping. Someday we may see an end to this kind of thing, but not if we're not involved to make a change. We may not be the world's policemen (and I don't think we should be) but we damn well should stand up for those that can't help themselves, and while we may be there for the wrong reasons, we're still there and we're still doing good by being there.

Every soldier we lose or is injured isn't being lost or hurt for nothing and that's just my personal opinion.
