fair enough. i just felt people needed to know that feelings were mixed.
i will give this movie a few nods, though. Casey Affleck was so rediculously good at his role in this movie (the coward, mentioned in the title) that I can't ever see him in another movie because i just picture this guy.
it is kinda like There Will be Blood except there are characters you can relate to, and they get owned. the main characters in both movies are so brutally difficult to watch and i guess that is the point. I think There Will be Blood did it a lot better, though, but if you don't like one you probably won't be able to get into the other. The pacing is what they have in common the most. Seemingly pointless scenes that drone on and on and on. Not really a movie about the story, more about the characters.
But really, it just could have been a lot shorter.
