| It'll be easier to keep your drinks over 100 proof using 151, or any higher proof booze, obviously. Don't know how much you like rum, but you could just start drinking 151 with whatever mixer you prefer, if ya keep it at a 50/50 ratio, you're gonna stay over 100 proof. Don't know what kind of everclear is sold in your area, but that's always an option (in Minnesota the only kind you can buy is the 150 proof stuff.) Rumpleminz is gonna be kinda hard to find something to mix with as it's peppermint, and in my opinion, nothing tastes good mixed with that. Although there are a couple people who drink it with 7-up that I serve. Could also try drinking some bourbon - believe Wild Turkey makes one called Rare Breed that's 127.5 proof. This also works as a shot, make just like a Jag bomb, but chill the liquor first.
I think Absolut makes a 100 proof version of their vodka, that could be an option as well, and a helluva lot easier to mix some drinks up with. Lemme know if you want more SoCo recipes, I got more but my brain is malfunctioning at the moment. |
