I played a Wizard (Loreplay server) for an hour or so. Frankly, the graphics are so horrendously amateurish that the rest of the game needs to be godly to overcome this initial jolt to the system. Heck, I just got the ancient Star Trail RPG (circa 1994, running in DOSbox) to run on my rig, and it's more creative and entertaining graphically than this crap.

The controls are just awful. Movement is strictly click-to-move and there is no pathfinding at all, so every click has to be in a straight line between where you are and where you want to go. If you click on the other side of a river, your character will walk along the bottom of the river (like, 50 feet down) to the other side. The default camera controls will be re-bound by nearly every RPG player (to WASD in my case), as they are pretty much all 180 degrees off from what anybody is used to and what's intuitive.

The interface basically does what it needs to, and is customizable enough to not be a hindrance.

There is a "PvP" channel, which I'm guessing lists every PvP kill happening in the game. During Prime Time EST, there were a total of four kills over the course of an hour and a half, so I'm guessing there isn't much "PvP combat" happening in this "PvP game". I enabled every single chat channel the game had (like, 20 of them) and there wasn't a single chat message the entire time I played. There were three other newbies in the only newbie city on the server during my time there. I'm guessing the population is fairly low *cough*.

I suppose I'll goof around with other classes, etc. and read online guides, then see what things look like after the wipe.
