And this is how you lose it: Make a *SINGLE* mistake and get your character "red" (your character name turns red) and you are an instant Monty-Haul treasure trove waiting to happen. Anybody can attack you and kill you without any repercussions at all - and you *CANNOT* defend yourself or you go even deeper into the "red" - and you have a very high probability for that gear to just drop on the ground for them to pick up.
And another example: So you and some guildies go to a hunting area. You get there, some other folks are there, you kill them. Then what? Well, now you're "red" and you and your guildies have to kill each other over and over until you're not "red" any more.
Lineage 2 had the single most retarded fucking PvP system in the history of PvP games. There's no way NC-Soft would be stupid enough to include that in a game like Aion, which they hope to get more than 5,000 NA subscribers with. | 'nuff said |
