The e-sports viability for arenas line ... sounds rather foreboding. Looking at the FPS centered world of e-sports games, all the variety that makes MMOs cool (gear, level, talent builds) is.. pretty damned alien. Bringing the homogeneity such a format of play seems to call for to WoW, well, it's already wreaking some havok as arena balance changes ripple outward through the rest of the game.
