| This sucks. I was just telling an rl friend of mine today that EQ2 wouldn't be even halfway playable without Hartsman. I don't think people remember how bad the game was before he took over. I remember asking him about the over-handed use of control and extremely tight play mechanics here on the FOH boards. His response was that EQ2 had alot to offer, and that he didn't want things like an excess amount of control to ruin the gameplay. He was going to make changes whether or not it jived with the original team's vision. He did what he said he'd do.
Now you tell me that the producer that was there before launch is taking back the reins? I wonder how long it will take the game to get back to "screwed up" status. I think we've seen the best that there is to offer by EQ2. Time to cancel my EQ2 sub. Hartsman at the helm has been that important. |
