Read range still blows. And if you're that concerned, carry some lead on you. Metal in the vicinity of the tag really fucks up read range. Honda recently purchased some RFID units from us and we told them read range in a clean room is 2 ft. They then went into their car manufacturing plant with metal everywhere, and complained when the read range dropped to like 5 inches. |
