So what "point" did I miss?
That you're wrong about things getting smaller and smaller?
Are they really super secure and those silly nerds at HOPE only faked the cloning of an RFID signal?
Are people just making shit up about RFID chips carrying buffer-overflow viruses?
I mean if the entire Electronic Product Code network can be shutdown via simple DoS attack, what makes these chips (some of which have EPC data in them) so much better?
I look forward to you not answering my obviously conspiracy-like crazy talk with non-answers. You are clearly a shill for "The Man" trying to keep me and my brothers down. |
Look bro I never mentioned anything about the flaws that RFID had. There are plenty and I'd be surprised if the EPC standards are even "stardards" yet. I have been out of that industry for several years now so I am sure things have changed.
Your constant paranoia attempts about rfid are valid. But then what other technology doesn't have problems/flaws? Are you really that safe playing around on the internet using windows xp and purchasing things with your credit card? Didn't people bitch and moan about ssn's forever, or ATM machines? New technology brings about lots of questions and concerns and they are all viable, however annoying they are.
I do not have any godly answers to any of your questions. My main problem was trying to get my head around the physics of pinpointing someones location based on a 13.56 Mhz tag. I still am having a problem with it, but it does look like gps units are getting very very small and I will admit that does raise my eyebrows.
