Which is why those wallets i linked are nice. They are already rated and approved by various departments in the government for people who already use cards (security cards, etc) with RFID in them.
They can't be scanned unless opened and pointed towards the scanner. Every citizen in the United States will have one in 2009 with our new RealID's - the new federal driver's license, passport, and various other important information attached to one simple card. Animals already get "chipped", employers have started "chipping" their employees to make sure they're doing what they're supposed to be doing, and it's going to get worse from here on out.
