I find that impossible that they can track him wherever he goes. There is no fucking way that a chip that small can output a gps signal and have a power source for it.

RFID works in that those smalls tags are passive, as in there is no power attached to the tag(the antenna or ic). The tags that pass by a reader get energized by the reader and send back its ID, data etc. A small chip that is being inserted into a human would have to have to be passive. Thus this ultimately limits the read range of a tag. The government would have to install readers in every nook and crany of the universe in order to track you.

Active tags which have a power source can and do have gps capability. The size of these tags are pretty big. They are used a lot on the shipping containers at our docks.
