| I have worked for 3 companies doing RFID using 13.56 and UHF.. This conspiracy bullshit has been around for a long time.
Don't believe any of this "The Government is going to track you shit", they allready can do that via credit cards, ssn, etc... Hell they can track your cell phone and pin point where you are.
The chips in this movie are using 13.56Mhz. The read range on these tags is less than a foot for the most part. Scared of a foot? Then wrap the fucking thing in metal. UHF Gen 2 tags can be read reliably around 20 feet but can be interrupted by metal or water pretty easily.
Those wallets are fucking hilarious, but would work I guess.... Just don't believe the hype in this movie. They would need to implant tags with some sort of GPS tracking device to track your every movement. The size of that chip would need be pretty damn big, and very fucking expensive.
