Man, I watched both movies again after reading through the books.

I can't believe how horribly disappointing these movies are compared to the books. Everything that makes the books so great, the main character's narrative / attitude, all the nuances about the universe and characters, are totally lacking from the movies.

The movies are so far off from the books its almost a complete waste to have made them in my opinion. All the hype for basically a cool looking bunch of scenes.

And just an add note, the game is such a travesty. The watch series is easily set up to be one of the best games ever if it was done correctly. Basically, this IP has been butchered by every media spin off=/ Such a shame.

If you have any interest in the movies, read the books. They're 100x better.
