| I formed the BJJ club at Gonzaga back in 1997. Roommate of mine trained directly under Rickson Gracie in his school in CA. We only had about 15 in the club, as BJJ isn't as popular in the cold Spokane environment. Lazy black belts love sunny skies. But man, last time I trained was 4 years ago, back before I was married. BJJ was so much better than working out, but I wasn't that hardcore, doing vale tudo or anything. |
