| Len what you probably don't remember was that we NEVER would have figured out the monk epic if we hadn't been told by a very close friend of the developers from the test server exactly where to start. The beginning of that quest is so freaking obscure as to be completely ludicrous.
And before anyone chimes in saying that's bull, there were like 6 of us in IRC at the time wracking our brains since monks had yet to even know where the initial questline for our epic was, and a regular told us where to go and who to talk to. From there it was relatively simple. If you really need further proof/convincing, the first person to actually start the quest and turn in the RotWF was a good guildmate friend of mine because nobody else wanted to believe us.
That's an example of how poorly thought out aspects of the quests were. The epic was awesome...once you got past the fact that nobody with any brain would have ever found it left to their own devices. |
