TBH, the honor-grind reminds me a LOT of the old EQ one(which I often Afked as well). If I can get 2 things done in the same amount of time as I could get one, I'll do it everytime. The people who want to "play" AV are not hindered by my lack of interaction; sure it may be harder to win.. but the essence of the game is still there. A boring race to the end.... just my team has one less person. Honestly though, the best way I have found is to just defend a tower or something.. that way Im helping my team while doing jack shit.... And by jack shit I mean finishing zelda on the wii that I should have beaten eons ago! |
I've AFK'd about 150k honor. Unlike you though, I don't try to rationalize it with bullshit.
You are messing up the game for others and violating the spirit of what Blizzard is trying to set up. It's not some major sin, but let's just be honest, this is what we're doing when we're AFKing.
