| Meh, I afk AV all the time... Honor is a horrible grind that becomes unfun about 10mins after starting it.
TBH, the honor-grind reminds me a LOT of the old EQ one(which I often Afked as well). If I can get 2 things done in the same amount of time as I could get one, I'll do it everytime. The people who want to "play" AV are not hindered by my lack of interaction; sure it may be harder to win.. but the essence of the game is still there. A boring race to the end.... just my team has one less person. Honestly though, the best way I have found is to just defend a tower or something.. that way Im helping my team while doing jack shit.... And by jack shit I mean finishing zelda on the wii that I should have beaten eons ago!
Create a system that is fun, and more people will play. But to have a mind-numbing grind that is somewhat required(for pvp), you will get people who don't want put in the hours. |
