| To defend this project it should be said that Dragon Ball (without Z) was packed with pretty funny comedy and that the only good Dragon Ball Z episodes are the ones going back to the comedy roots of the serie (and of the author). So, since Stephen Chow is around and is the master of comedy we know... maybe... it will lean toward the comedy side and be funny.
Sadly the average Dragon Ball Z fan probably does not care much about comedy, and having a Hong Kong producer at the wheel for the american adaptation of a japanese anime sounds like a good mix to disappoint just about everyone. |
