It's $9.99 a month for HG:L if you pay monthly. $51ish if you pay every 6 months, but yeah the subscription is hard to justify until they start patching real content into the game.
Oh and good game dynamically generated levels. I zone into Upper Thames and I'm instantly bombarded by 6 ravagers, 4 bruisers and 2 soul leeches or whatever they're called. I nearly die before I can even move.
