I just picked up the collector's edition and have been trying to avoid any info about this game outside of watching the trailers and some ads for it since I've been ruining my gaming experiences lately by getting into betas, playing demos, then proceeding to read every spoiler about the game before it's even hit the shelves.

About the collector's edition it comes with a relatively useless stingray pet, a pretty good graphic novel with nice artwork and a decent plot/dialogue, so&so music soundtrack and a crappy fold out poster of the game. The graphic novel is at least worth the 10 bucks if you're looking to purchase the game. I load up the game and give it a shot.

So far I'm having none of the memory leaking issues while playing but I get fits of slowdown in some player hubs and the game really doesn't like it when I bring up the chat box. I get the rare occasional crash, only one thus far. I made an Evoker and a Marksman and I am enjoying both though the game does get dull after attempting to play it past a few hours. While it's basically a 3D post apocalyptic Diablo II, I'm also constantly being reminded of City of Heroes and Guild Wars in gameplay.

I suppose what bugs me the most about this game is I want to love it but it's so annoyingly unpolished and there's so many minor bugs and technical issues that could use some fixing. I love the setting, the whole idea of it but the execution is less than great. It kinda bugs me to watch such a kick ass intro for the game then play what's basically a bogged down Diablo II.
