| Have we not had people come forth, publically and say that men and women are not equal in all areas? President of Harvard? Nobel prize winners? Women are not dumb, clearly. But how many computer nerd women do you see? I don't understand the need to make EVERYBODY exactly the same. Don't degrade people but respect that some people have differences. Slow vs fast twitch muscles for example. Some people are just better at sprinting and some at running long distances.
Certain ethnic groups TEND to have certain differences and variance in their genetic makeup. Women TEND to enter science and math less than men. Does that mean that all women suck at it? No. But women also tend to have less muscle mass than men do. Which makes them, on the whole, less able to lift heavier weights. Does this mean they are weak or useless? Absolutely not.
But people should not be BLIND to reality either just so they can appear to be PC.
Myself, as a black, overweight jewish man who lives in the ghetto will never excel in lots of things. And I am perfectly ok with that. |
