Ducks getting 1st seed is a fantasy, even for me. Detroit is going to walk away with yet another Presidents Trophy because of the weak division. I'm glad they're supposed to be changing that up after this season.
Burkie has been going on too long about this, but he does have one valid concern. The offer sheets Lowe was throwing out has jacked up the free agent market. I don't think there's anyone around that'll tell you Vanek is worth 7+ a season. Penner may be worth his 4+, but he won't be playing with Perry and Getzlaf nor receiving outlet passes from Niedermayer or Pronger with the Oilers. The creep can roll though, he was amazing here! Just hope he doesn't turn into Lupul v2.0 for you guys.
