I'm thinking about buying EQ2, but I'm one of those people who will read and research for weeks and spend another week doing my UI before I even move my character. This game really throws me off with the way the classes are set up.
I've heard there has been, and still are ongoing major combat changes.
I've read through this thread
http://www.fohguild.org/forums/mmorp...s-rundown.html and other EQ2 sites for a general idea, but I can't find any relevant info for someone like me. I'm a min/maxer, theorycrafter. I like having 1 job, and doing it the best, with as little shitty utility thrown in for fluff as possible ( I believe there is a difference between shitty and good utility ex. Monk/Bard pulling vs tanking/dps druid and pals. I played a mage in EQ from vanilla till the mod rod nerf. Being a mod rod bitch sucked, but it got the job done. After that I was a watered down wizzy, so I re-rolled and stuck my my mage in VT as a CoH bitch.
Is there a site with a rundown of class skills and spells like Thottbot or Lucy?
I'm looking for a website that is the EQ2 equivalent of EJ forums for WoW ( A site with alot of theorycrafting / parsing ).
Is there a serverwide guild progression chart?
I've got EQ2Interface bookmarked, are there any others I should look at?
Any other website recommendations at all? My goal is to sit down, set myself up on knowledge and then play right up to applying to a raiding guild.
