I was thinking about getting into this again, now that I can actually afford to buy the minatures - but it would purely be for the painting side of it - which is what I mainly enjoyed. Even 20 years ago when I was a kid I could never find a) friends to play against or b) be prepared to camp out all day in a GW shop.
As a 15 year old pimply nerd it was still way too excessively nerdy in the shops to do more than run in quickly, buy some figures or a box and run out.
