| I've spent over $10k on MTGO and am a fan of trading card games and try any out that are online. I would say the EQ TCC game reminded me the most of the LOTR TCC but it has its own unique play mechanics.
I actually enjoyed this game a lot of other TCC games that are out there. I never actually played VS players, but I played through the scenarios vs the PC AI. This only took a few hours to finish though. I wish there were a lot more scenarios to play through(only 15 atm). I am not interested in playing vs players really, I'll play MTGO for that. If they had a lot more scenarios to play I'd spend more money on the game. You actually get some decent cards for beating the scenarios. So its kind of like free special cards for beating them.
I'd like to see a good TCC game where you have to earn your cards and not just buy mass packs. Earn cards solo/grouped vs AI and then tournaments vs players with the cards you have earned. Kind of like how Etherlords II worked. One of my favorite games that is pretty much unheard of by most people.
I don't have an active EQ2 subscription so whatever in game bonuses you get don't interest me. |
