Well I was reading the original thread but it was just deleted.

IMO, if consenting adults want to role-play in private channels, regardless of the subject matter, it's their right to do so (in an ideal world). From what I read, the guild in question has a pretty thorough application process that takes age into consideration (underage children cannot join the guild). If a minor lies on the application then obviously problems start. Should the guild be punished if they were under the impression that everyone listening is an adult? I'd say that the same as blaming an adult for cybering with someone who they thought was of age, but turns out the other person is 12 or something. Of course it gets complicated when you thought that 12 year old was a 24 year old roleplaying a 12 year old.
