| This is an absolute classic sci fi movie and it turns out for some strange reason I don't own it yet so I'll probably buy this upcoming version.
Personally, I prefer to think of Deckard as not a replicant, since that gives so much more meaning to the Roy's action. He saves him because he has come to value any and all life, including his enemey. If Deckard was a replicant, then there's the possible implication that Roy onlyu saved him because he was saving one of his own.
Also, Roy's last speach is one of the best bits of writting, imo. In just a few sentences he adds so much depth to the universe that the story is set in. It's up there the clone wars phrase from A New Hope. |
