| One note for any beginner abusers - I loved DXM. LOVED it, probably my favorite drug because I never had to worry about purity, it was cheap, etc., however I frequently took it in the form of robitussin gel caps, starting at 20 at a time and eventually taking as many as 40 or 50 at a time. At the time I was worried about losing the ability to cough, doing permanent damage to my throat or brain, or just being on the front page as another idiot kid who ODed, but now that I've been off it for 2 years the only long term effect is I get very very very nauseous when I need to take a different pill, to the point where I have to sit down for 15 minutes after and concentrate to not throw up. Occasionally having a flash back when taking a drink of water from a bottle can produce the same effect, albeit more rarely.
Taking 40-50 pills at a time (10 per swallow usually) has consequences! Ones you don't think of! |
