My friend and I grow our own salvia, usually don't bother making extract.

We put about a nickel sized clump of leaf for a hit into a aluminum foil bowl attached to a bong bowl. Hit it with BUTANE lighter and take it in 1-2 hits over ~30 seconds.

How I've always done it, knocks you completely out of reality for about 15 minutes.

Last time I did it I took my dose and instantly fell back onto he bed and looked at the roof. The ceiling had a water line across the the entire center with a fan on the far side and a light on the near.

Light became the sun, fan became the core of the earth, line became ground level. Below filled in with dirt, above with sky. The texturing on the walls made it look like a painting. All sound radiated from what seemed to be an orb I held in my left hand. John Frusciante we were listening to became a 10 second loop for the duration.
