Absolutely correct. Contesteds are hella fun on PvP servers. Fighting off 2 raids while killing Hurricanus, MO, 3Princes, Matron (We never downed Pumpkin tho) is some of the best fun I've ever had in EQ2. But they're an absolute headache on PvE servers. As long as they throw us a bone with one or two, I'll be more than happy.
As for "ubers" being unhappy, ignore those fools Arrr, they really don't represent it. All the folks I know are stoked over this news. Personally I think these are the most positive changes ever to EQ2, and considering all the great changes in the past....that's really saying something.
