My guess is that the person who registered it also registered another name and was only waiting for the perfect thread in which he could mimic Furor and make a funny before getting banned on that name.
But hasn't that thread happened yet? Maybe 100 times? There has to have been more than one case where this guy could have posted with this name and pretended to be Furor (realistically or sarcastically) and made us laugh (with or at him, either way would have worked), but he didn't.
This means, maybe he has been a regular here since '02 under another name and just now remembered that he had this screen name available. But if so, he must know that he doesn't need to "test" it if he can access it.
So that means it might be some guy who registered the name, quit EQ and then quit caring about this site. Then years later he plays WoW, re-discovers this site and remembers he had registered that screen name. But why test it? And why test it here of all threads?
Or it might be an admin having fun but I doubt that.
Whoever it is, they absolutely must be some kind of a reject. You care and know enough to register the name Furorr, but don't have enough wit to use it to make me laugh?
In conclusion, the person who registered this name also got mad about midochlorians in the first Star Wars prequel. This is without question.
