| That's great writing Dark, though its probably a bit too specific for whats needed as far as building the background lore. It is awesome for firing up people's imagination though 8)
Perhaps something like a timeline of history, listing the major players in the universe, who are going to have an influence on players, etc.
I did like the idea you came up with in irc that had the two playable factions being derived from the same source, namely the human expedition.
I'd rather have the playable factions not have mech technology until arriving on the planet, and they discover it there from the ancient civilasation, since that gives us much easier way to manage technological advancement from a gameplay point of view. |
