Haha it's so funny you talk about that because a few years ago I played NCAA 05 with BC and had a 10 year dynasty where they didn't lose a single game and I had it on the most difficult setting. I turned BC into an option team too. After the 2nd national championship I got the sickest recruits and I was an instant NCAA powerhouse and no team really posed a challenge to me. I decided to keep playing until I lost a game. In the 10th year of my reign both BC and USC were undefeated and I played USC in the Rose Bowl for the national championship. It was the sickest video football game I ever played. The computer was unstoppable for some reason. I think the computer was pissed me for running up the score on it for 10 seasons and now it wanted revenge. USC scored on every possession it the first 3 quarters and there D was nasty too, I had to punt a few times. I was down 18 points going into the 4th quarter and I started a massive comeback. I started to shut down their offense and I came back with a last second 30yd pass into the corner of the endzone. Then I had to go for 2 because previously I botched a 2 point conversion. I play action faked and right before my QB got sacked I lobbed it to my money receiver in the endzone for the tie. So the game went to OT with a score of 50-50. At this point I had to pause the game because my hands were sweaty. For 10 seasons I really had no challenge and this game was the best I had played. I started off with the ball first and they stuffed me 3 stright plays and I had to kick a fg, but instead I went for it and the option play came through and I was stuffed on the goal line. Next play I jammed it in behind the FB and kicked the XP. Now USC had the ball. And they scored in 1 play with a pass right into the endzone. They lined up to kick the XP and I called time out. I switched out one of my linemen and put in my go to receiver who was like 6 foot 8 and super fast. I put him behind 2 linemen and timed the snap perfectly, and somehow blocked the XP try. BC wins 57-56 in OT vs USC. Best game of video game football I have played vs the CPU. I must also note that by the 2nd quarter my roommates had seen that I was losing and had started to cheer for USC in the 2nd half (These are BC grads and die hard USC fans). They were talking so much trash and I think it is what turned my game around. The end of the game was crazy because I was screaming back at them and they couldn't believe what just happened.
After that game I never have played another game of NCAA Football vs the computer, I now only occassionally play my friends but they always make me give them huge point spreads. To this day I still remember all the details of that game, just like it was a real game (I know it's sad). The computer was on God mode or something and I took it down.
