sorry, I'm not anti-gun or anything. I still own a remington 799 for when I used to go rabbit hunting, and a mossberg 500 for duck(which was a present from my grandpa, so no way I could get rid of it).
I'm not going to start a gun derailement, but a pistol's main purpose to kill humans, and the entire shooting for simple fun of it seemed silly to me.

Yeah, I'm not sure how anyone would think guns weren't developed as a weapon (with the purpose of more effeciently killing fellow man).
That doesn't mean they don't have (and have had) plenty of other less devious, legitimate uses, but face it: We made them to keel each other with.
